Something you might not consider a Spring Break activity is stepping outside to watch for the International Space Station as it flies over the Magic Valley.
It's pictures like this that make me want to be an astronaut. Only problem is I'm afraid of heights. Dang. But, one astronaut who isn't afraid of heights just took an amazing picture of Bear Lake from way up there.
The NASA website where pictures from the International Space Station are kept is one of the coolest places you can waste time on. After a little nosing around, I came across a ton from above Idaho and three very sweet pics of Twin Falls and Snake River Canyon.
Idaho is a pretty spiffy place when viewed from ground level. It gets even better when viewed from space. Recently, an astronaut on the International Space Station grabbed his handy Nikon camera and grabbed this super high resolution pic of the Idaho mountains.
