What does it take when you move to a new state before you are considered to belong? When you go somewhere and get asked where are you from, and you mention the city you live in, not the state you moved from?

For everyone that moves here from out of state, it takes some time to get familiar with the culture, and slowly over time you begin to adjust.

I have noticed is that people who are born here tend to stay here. There are a few signs indicating that you were born and raised in Idaho.

When I first moved here I learned that Idahoans say things differently and have their own lingo. If you want to sound like a native Idahoan and not be pegged as an "outsider" there are some words you should learn.
