I wanted to see if the lasers were powerful enough to light up Balanced Rock, and what I saw after switching on the projectors still gives me chills when I think of it, even though the photographs don't do the experience justice.

I'm not trying to take anything away from Twin Falls, but Caldwell's lights and ice skating rink look like something out of a Hallmark movie.

We are big fans of holiday decorating in our family. I'd like to think my skills are pretty advanced in the category of exterior holiday decorating, but since moving to Twin Falls years ago one neighbor has outdone me by leaps and bounds.

The idea was to use a pair of Star Shower projection lights to cast a holiday glow on the famous rock. I packed my trusty Maglite, both projectors and my fully-charged, Jackery box.

To help celebrate the season, we've made a list of all the awesome light displays around southern Idaho and some just a bit further out of the area.
