It probably depends on the gym you are working out at, but I would think that the gym would be a great place to meet potential dates. But bad news gym rats - you're not going to meet your spouse at the gym. Sadly, all that sweating and grunting where you think you are impressing everyone isn't going to get you any dates.

The locker room at the gym seems really busy right now...probably because of New Years resolutions. A lot of people work out before the go to work or on their lunch hour, so being able to get ready in a locker room is a big advantage for them. I use the locker room to get ready every now and then and I think there should be some rules on modesty.
