The Treasure Valley's drive-in movie season is starting one week earlier than originally anticipated! Caldwell's Terrace Drive-In's Facebook page came roaring back to life over the weekend and announced their opening date!

The first day of spring is quickly approaching and with it comes an announcement Treasure Valley movie lovers have been waiting for! Drive-in season in Parma is almost here!

There haven't been a lot of places in Idaho that have premiered on the show 'Diners Drive Ins and Dives" and most of them have been in Boise. Maybe I am a little bias but there are a ton of Twin Falls restaurants that should be on that list.

When 2020 started, we really thought we'd be spending June 27 with you for the 11th Annual Boise Music Festival. COVID-19 had other plans. Now that you've got the date free, you can take advantage of this first of its kind experience!

It is nice to know though that other locations in southern Idaho are still being recognized for offering the public a place to park, and enjoy a taste of nostalgia to go with their popcorn.

I know there were business reasons why the drive-ins in Twin Falls closed, but that doesn't mean I have to be happy about it. I came across a brand new drive-in and I want one of these in Twin Falls now.

Over the last few days I've seen several social media shares regarding the Twin Falls drive-in opening for the summer.

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) A local family is looking to keep the Grand Vu alive after hearing the news of the drive in closing, Overnight the Facebook page Keep Our Drive-In Alive, jumped from 60 likes to over 2,000.

We just got some bad news this morning that the Twin Falls Motor-Vu Drive In is shutting down. There was a break in a water line over the winter that went unnoticed and caused a lot of damage making the cost to repair (along with the difficulty in finding 35mm film that the theater uses) outweigh the benefits.

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Cinema West has announced it will not be operating the Motor Vu drive in this summer.

As with the Tasmanian Wolves, Black Rhinos, Polar Bears, and VHS, we are witnessing a mass extinction: the death of an American Icon, the Drive-In Movie Theater. These once plentiful meccas of entertainment and fun are being lost amidst the Digital Evolution.

The drive-ins are hosting a carload special this weekend.  Just $10 Dollars and "KEZJ" written on a piece of paper gets your entire carload into the either drive-in.
