This time of year brings Thanksgiving followed by Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and of course Cyber Monday.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – A $3 million donation was presented recently by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the United Nations’ World Food Programme to help provide food to refugees and displaced people in Cameroon, Chad and Syria.

According to yahoo.com Taylor Swift has taught a generation of kids to appreciate country music over the last five years. Now, she's donating $4 million to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum to make sure that education continues. I am thinking she might be doing this because it has always been a dream of hers.

Thinking about giving blood? Jackie and I try to donate at least once a year. You can too. According to the American Red Cross one pint of blood can save up to three lives. The next American Red Cross blood drive is scheduled for April 12th at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls.
