In 1937 Amelia Earhart boarded her Lockheed Model 10 Electra airplane in an attempt to circumnavigate the globe. She mysteriously disappeared over the central Pacific Ocean near Howland Island. Attmpts to find her downed Electra have never ceased, and now, 75 years later, Discovery News is reporting that a team of researchers may have located her.
