Yesterday morning southern Idaho roads were a skating rink. We received at least a dozen reports of slides offs, rear-ends and accidents in Twin Falls.

If you were involved in an accident we hope you are OK, and we hope you had a good friend to call. It's situations like these, that make all of us realize we may have 500+ Facebook friends but how many friends would come get you if you slid off the road?

According to Science 2.0 / AFP, the average person has more than 150 Facebook friends. But a study found we'd only go to 14 of them for sympathy in a tough situation, and we'd only go to 4 of them in a real crisis.

Even if you are extremely social the researchers say we don't have the mental capacity to have a ton of real friends.

Our brains can juggle around five super close friends, 15 pretty close friends, 50 good friends, 150 total friends, 500 acquaintances, and 1,500 people we recognize on sight.
