Reba McEntire has shared "Storm in a Shot Glass," also known as your new go-to karaoke favorite, off of her upcoming album, Stronger Than the TruthAmid swirling violins and hard-driving guitars, the song tells the story of a woman scorned -- and the hell she wreaks in the aftermath. Press play above to listen to the new track.

"Hear come the lightning flashes / Hear come the thunder crashes / Hear come the tears like falling rain," McEntire sings in the track's chorus. "And it ain't gonna blow through fast / Gonna be hours before it's past / Wouldn't sit there and I sure wouldn't ask / Better step back / That's a storm in a shot glass."

"Storm in a Shot Glass" is the third song in the track listing for Stronger Than the Truth, and it was written by Mary Browder, Will Robinson and Leslie Satcher. It follows a handful of tracks off the project that McEntire has previously shared, including "In His Mind," No U in Oklahoma," "Tammy Wynette Kind of Pain" and "Stronger Than the Truth."

The project is due for release on April 5 -- just two days before McEntire hosts the 2019 ACM Awards -- and was co-produced by the country superstar alongside her longtime collaborator, producer Buddy Cannon. McEntire has said that she's excited to return to her traditional country roots on Stronger Than the Truth, which follows a gospel album called Sing it Now: Songs of Faith & Hope.

"I grew up on an 8,000-acre family ranch singing at dance halls, honky-tonks and rodeos with my brother and sister. Stronger Than the Truth takes me back to that kind of country music that I grew up with," McEntire explains. "I haven't gotten to do that in a while, so I'm thrilled to pieces to release this new music."
