Idaho State Police said one person was life-flighted after a crash Sunday morning.

Police responded to the crash on Interstate 84 east of Boise near milepost 70 around 6 a.m. on December 8.

36-year-old Roger Flege from Boise was driving westbound in a van towing a camper when the van went into the median and rolled. Police said the trailer became unhitched and stopped in the median, while the van landed on its side in the eastbound lanes.

Flege was taken to the St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise by an air ambulance.

Authorities said the lanes going eastbound were completely blocked for 1.5 hours. For another 1.5 hours, lanes were partially blocked while crews cleaned up the accident.
