North Idaho Mobile Home Park Owner Says He Won’t Sell

Ingram Publishing

MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) — The owner of Syringa Mobile Home Park is asking tenants to continue paying rent despite rumors that he may be putting the property up for sale.

The Moscow-Pullman Daily News reports Magar E. Magar is facing a lawsuit brought against him by Syringa residents after they were without proper water and sewer services for more than 90 days in 2013. An attorney working on the class action, Maureen Laflin, says tenants will be meeting Monday to go over details of the case.

Magar has said the water and wastewater operator is still on the job and that necessary testing had been completed. He insists that everything is now working fine. Magar has been fined as a result of the case. Laflin says Magar is far behind on those payments.
