Mighty No. 9 Gameplay Videos Released, Stretch Goal Increased by $100,000

These latest gameplay videos show the fundamental actions of Beck in Mighty No. 9. Meanwhile, the game's secondary crowdfunding campaign just had its first stretch goal's requirement mysteriously doubled.

The first of these new gameplay videos of Mighty No. 9 showcase the basic actions of Beck, such as running and jumping. The second video depicts Beck in the new ledge-hanging action, where his feet paddle in the air as he struggles to pull himself up. The last of these new videos is all about dashing, which can be used to duck under obstacles. While these videos showcase the fundamental abilities of Beck, there is something much more intriguing that happened on his official webpage.

It has only been a few days since we reported that Comcept was opening a second crowdfunding campaign for bonus features to be put into Mighty No. 9, with English-dubbed audio being its first stretch goal. While we're not sure just how $100,000 in English voice-overs are needed in a Mega Man-style game, but now that number has doubled.

The website now seeks to fund both Japanese and English dubs in its audio at the same time for the campaign's first major stretch goal, which is now at the steep total of $200,000. Joystiq reports that a Japan-only Makauake crowdfunding campaign has also appeared with a $100,000 goal for Japanese voice-overs. While the Makauake page has only reached 4 percent of its entire goal so far, we're unsure whether or not these funds will be added into the crowdfunding page for the $200,000.

Mighty No. 9 is due for a spring 2015 release for PC, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
