Jennifer Nettles has released the second single from her second solo album, Playing With Fire. The track, entitled "Hey Heartbreak," is about breaking up with heartbreak and closing the door on a past relationship.

"Hey, heartbreak, give me your key / It’s you, it’s not me," sings Nettles in the chorus of "Hey Heartbreak," refusing to let the end of a relationship be her downfall. "Hey, heartbreak, don’t come back / I swept up your shattered glass / What goes around is comin’ back around, ‘round, ‘round, ‘round / Hey, heartbreak, I’m breakin’, breakin’ up with you."

"Hey Heartbreak" follows "Unlove You," Nettles' first single from Playing With Fire, released in December of 2015. But the message in this new track is very different from "Unlove You": While the first track off Nettles' sophomore solo record is all about the inability to let go of a relationship, the subject of "Hey Heartbreak" isn't just ready to let go, she's ready to stomp all over that heartbreak and move on with a vengeance!

Written by Sara Haze, Shane McAnally and Jimmy Robbins, "Hey Heartbreak" is one of only two songs on Playing With Fire on which Nettles does not have co-writing credits. She co-wrote 10 of the album's 12 songs, and even though this new single isn't one of them, Nettles' signature sound and vocal prowess come through loud and clear throughout the track.

Nettles recently starred in the TV movie Coat of Many Colors, produced by Dolly Parton, who recently leaked the news that the Sugarland alum will be releasing a Christmas album in 2016. Playing With Fire is currently available for download via Amazon and iTunes.
