
Unsolved Murder: Idaho Student’s Skull Found In Woods 24 Yrs Ago
Nearly 25 years have passed since hunters found the remains of a missing University of Idaho theater student. State police believe the murderer(s) could still be living near the city of Moscow and are asking the public for any information they might have regarding the case of William Hendrick.
William Hendrick was a 25-year-old popular drama student attending the University of Idaho in 1999 when he disappeared after leaving an off-campus party shortly after the Christmas break. Hendrick was an openly gay man, according to unsolved.com. Theories were circulating throughout the college community that his sexual preference may have had something to do with his disappearance, according to multiple Internet sources.

Hendrick's skull was found by hunters almost three years after he was last seen on that January morning in 1999, and no other remains of his have turned up. Local police believe Hendrick was murdered. His car was found parked near campus with some of his most important possessions, according to unsolved.com.
Season 11 of the popular true crime show Unsolved Mysteries with host Robert Stack featured the case in an episode, which resulted in tips from the public but nothing that led to an arrest. After nearly a quarter of a century, Moscow police still have no answers.
