The channel has over one million subscribers and features the lake in a production titled "Nevada's Worst Rural Towns."

Walker Lake is surrounded by rocky, desert land, and shade is hard to come by. Reports of unidentified aerial phenomena are quite common in this region of Nevada as well, which lends to the conspiracies.
