Police in Idaho are looking into an accident that killed a woman after she lost control, of her vehicle and hit a tree.

The accident happened around 10 AM on September 18th in Idaho County.

The 74-year-old- female driver was heading east on Toll Road near Kings Bluff Road, east of Kooskia in northern Idaho. According to the report from the Idaho State Police, the woman driving:

a gray Buick Enclave when the vehicle left the roadway, drove off the left shoulder, and struck a tree.

She was the only person in the car and passed away at the scene of the accident.

Idaho State Police Investigating Two Other Non-Fatal Accidents

ISP are investigating two separate injury accidents that happened in Northern Idaho on September 17th. One of the accidents happened in Athol and the other in Kootenai County.

Idaho Teen Hit By Tow Truck While Riding a Scooter

Authorities are looking for witnesses that may have seen an accident that happened between a tow truck driven by a 37-year-old man and 16-year-old girl on a scooter. The accident happened at the US95 off ramp intersection with SH54 at 7:44 in the morning.

The juvenile girl was taken to the hospital.

Another accident happened later that afternoon on State Highway 41 at Nursery Lane in Kootenai County. Police believe the driver may have been impaired when the accident happened and are investigating the crash.

ISP say in their report on the accident:

A 2005 Toyota Corolla driven by a 56-year-old female from Blanchard was driving northbound when it crossed left of center and struck a southbound 2010 Dodge Pickup driven by a 45-year-old male from Priest River.

The driver of the Toyota was taken to a local hospital and police are looking for witnesses to the accident.
