
Idaho Police Reported 2 Injury Accidents on Kimberly Road in Twin Falls, Idaho
The Idaho State Police have reported two separate injury accidents on Kimberly Road, east of the City of Twin Falls, and within a mile of each other. One accident involved a small car that struck a utility vehicle, and the other involved a pickup truck that ran a stop sign and hit a semi-truck.
Between the two accidents, four people were taken to local hospitals with injuries. Details on each accident can be found below.
Injury Accident Reported on Kimberly Road Between Pickup and Semi-Truck
The Idaho State Police released a news report today, January 7th, regarding an accident that happened on Kimberly Road at 12:46 this morning at the N 3400 E intersection. Three people were injured in the crash.
- A 2014 Freightliner Semi, driven by a 55-year-old male from Kuna, and hauling an empty tanker trailer, was travelling Westbound on Kimberly Road.
- A Gray 2010 Ford F150 pickup, driven by an 18-year-old male from Jerome, was travelling Southbound on N 3400 E when it failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with the side of the semi-truck.
The semi-truck was pushed into the eastbound lanes, and the pickup truck was stopped on the westbound lanes of traffic. The semi-truck also struck a power pole. The pole was damaged but remained upright and didn’t disrupt power to nearby residents.
Both drivers and a 41-year-old male passenger in the semi were taken to the hospital by ground ambulance.
Car Hits Parked Utility Vehicle on Kimberly Road in Twin Falls
The Idaho State Police have not issued a news release for this accident yet, but KMVT shared the details and a photo of the accident. KMVT reported that a female driver was injured when the yellow Nissan Juke she was driving hit a utility truck on Kimberly Road on Tuesday morning, January 6th, around 7 AM.
The accident happened at the N 3300 E intersection, one mile from the semi vs pickup accident this morning.
Each accident is being investigated.
