Did You Know This Sunflower Field is in Twin Falls, ID
My youngest daughter has been on a sunflower kick this summer. If we pass a field with just 1 sunflower, she wants us to stop and take a picture.
Well, the huge sunflower field in Twin Falls is open now and is going to blow her mind.
CSI Sunflower Field is Now Open in Twin Falls, ID
For many years, students at CSI cultivated a massive cornfield that they would turn into a maze around Halloween, but now they have something much better to get lost in. And easier to find your way out. Some things to be aware of when you visit the field: it’s full of flowers which means there will be bugs and a high chance of bees, and there are certain places you should park depending on what vehicle you drive.
The CSI Farm Team has opened the sunflower field to the public and you can even take a few flowers home after your visit. There isn’t a fee to get in, but you can make a donation to the CSI Ag Fund to help them continue projects like the sunflower field.
Where is the CSI Sunflower Field in Twin Falls
The sunflower field is on the corner of Cheney and Washington Streets in Twin Falls. The CSI beehives have been removed from the field, but if you have a bee allergy there are still some in the area.
During your visit, you are allowed to pick up to 6 flowers from the field. Please be respectful of the property and only take the flowers you want and don’t ruin any other areas of the property.
It is recommended that you park at one of the businesses near the Cheney/Washington intersection and walk to the field. Do not park at the new Fire Department building on Cheney.
