The holiday season is over and many of you left your homes to visit family and friends in other cities and states. If you did travel, getting the flu from those you were visiting isn’t the only thing you need to worry about bringing home.
Bed bugs are a huge issue in many places and there’s a good chance you brought some home if you visited certain locations.

If you traveled for Christmas or New Year’s or if you had visitors at your home, you may need to check for bed bugs. Even if you think the people you visited or who came to your house are clean people, there’s still a chance they have bed bugs.
The bug specialists at Orkin crunched the numbers and found these 50 cities to be the most infested with bed bugs. If you visited, or had visitors from, Chicago, New York, Cleveland, Philadelphia, or LA you are among the most-likely to have a new headache to worry about in 2025.

There’s good news to gather from that list - Idaho and Utah don’t have any cities that made the list. So if you didn’t leave Idaho or only went to Utah you’re pretty much in the clear. You could still check though.
