It's a story we couldn't make up if we tried-- but it's a serious one.

You may remember that just over a week ago, we reported that Police were looking for a man that shoved an elderly man to the ground in Nampa.

Then, as Nampa Police continued to search for the man--we learned that he was a 'Hollywood celeb' that played none other than...the green Power Ranger.

Here's a look at the incident that took place in a Nampa parking lot just over one week ago:

The video--and the scene--is horribly difficult to watch.

It doesn't matter what the encounter was over in the parking lot--there is nothing that can justify this kind of behavior and he must be held accountable for doing this to a vulnerable member of our community.

Hours after the crime, the following statement was made on Facebook by the Nampa Police Department:

Today at approximately 11:45, in a parking lot in front of District 208, the man in this video pushed an elderly man to the ground after they exchanged words about a parking issue.  After pushing the man down, the suspect left him on the ground and drove away in a raised up black 4 door truck with Texas license plate. You can see part of the truck in the video.
After being identified, police were finally able to catch up with him.
According to an update from local news reporter Daisy Bautista, who acquired court documents, the parking lot confrontation stemmed from Hector David Rivera parking in a handicap spot.
Apparently, from 2011-2015, Rivera played the green Power Ranger and was in Idaho for an appearance at the Magic Valley Comic-Con.
Rivera will be arraigned in court on August 28th.
Now, following all of this already 'crazy' news--Nampa Police Department posted on their Facebook page and it has the internet totally laughing out loud.
