Yep, Idaho is celebrating a birthday, today! On July 3rd, Idaho officially became a state, and we celebrate this day every single year.

But, the question remains...

Is Idaho older than your mom?

Well, that depends. When was your mom born? 1955? 1964?

If so, your mom is much, much younger than the state of Idaho. However, if she was born all the way back in 1980, well...

That's correct. Idaho is turning 135-years-old today, July 3rd, 2025. We're going to go ahead and assume your mom isn't 135-years-old. However, if she is, we'd love some tips for a healthy, long life!

Unfortunately, not everyone is keen on celebrating Idaho's historic 135th birthday this year. Actually, there's a vocal minority of folks online who are actually clamoring to leave Idaho.
