An Idaho College Just Got a Major Shoutout In New Hulu Movie

There is nothing better than seeing Boise getting shoutouts whether it be on TV or on TikTok and we’ve certainly been getting a lot of attention recently.. HGTV even named it the second best place to live in the entire country! Boise is certainly growing and other people have noticed it as well including television producers.

Recently we learned the news that Boise Brewing was going to be featured on Big Brother and there is even a very popular Grey's Anatomy episode that mentions Boise. Last year Idaho and Boise even hit the big screen in a new movie called The Union starring Mark Wahlberg and Halle Berry.

Now Hulu's own movie Summer of 69 gives an Idaho College a cameo as well.

In this new movie one of the main characters talks about loving the football player Jared Allen who is an Idaho State alumni. This character talks about how his dad went to Idaho State with him and they've even hung out together before. This comes at a huge point in the movie and is even a really important part of the plot.

Jared Allen, who really did play for Idaho State, will actually be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in just a couple of months.

Usually when people think of an Idaho college they think of Boise State, so Idaho State getting this major shoutout in a major new movie is a big deal and it's really exciting! The movie just came out last month and is already quickly becoming a fan favorite.
