Do You Make A Christmas Wish List As An Adult
Last night at my house was 'write a letter to Santa and make a Christmas wish list' night. It is always fun to see the random stuff kids want. My youngest wants a bottle of White Elmer's Glue and a baby boy (a real one) and my youngest son basically just asked for different types of RC Cars.
I'm just trying to think really hard because a Christmas gift list is like getting wishes and I don't want to waste them on dumb stuff
My oldest son had a great response to me, after a while of not writing anything down, I asked him what he wanted or did he just want mom to choose for him?
He said 'No way parents get you weird stuff if you make them guess. I'm just trying to think really hard because a Christmas gift list is like getting wishes and I don't want to waste them on dumb stuff'.
Truer words were never spoken.
As an adult I think that wish list becomes even more precious. It's an excuse to buy something that you normally wouldn't buy.
