This is a prime example of nature teaching us humans how it's done. The Montana Department of Transportation put salt on the highway to help with recent winter weather. That was until a herd of big horn sheep entered the picture and decided to remove it their own way.

This was shared by KBZK TV out of Bozeman on their Facebook page.

As it turns out, big horn sheep and road salt are not a new thing. Wildlife Arkive and Missoula Independent both chronicled how big horn sheep have been removing road salt from highways.

I also loved the part of the video when the guy (who's obviously a Led Zeppelin fan) honks his horn and the big horn sheep look at him like "hey, this is our mountain and we'll lick the salt off the road when we want to while you wait".
