‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ Game Coming to Smartphones
One of the greatest comic book stories ever told, and the basis for the upcoming X-Men film, is going to be a playable game for iOS and Android devices.
Glitchsoft has announced that it will be developing a game with Marvel Entertainment based on X-Men's 'Days of Future Past' story-arc. The lore-changing 1981 comic line had to do with an older Kitty Pryde going back into the past to prevent a dystopian future in which mutants (and eventually humans), are hauled away to internment camps by Sentinels. Kitty had to convince the X-Men team of the past to help her prevent the death of a certain politician which triggered the streamlining of sentinels to hunt and apprehend all the mutants on the planet.
The 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' smartphone game will be a side-scrolling, 2D mutant brawler. It will be made available on iOS and Android devices in May 2014 to coincide with the release of the corresponding full-length feature film of the same name.
