Apple officially unveiled the newest iDevice, the iPad Mini. The cute little brother to the iPad features a 7.9 inch screen, guts lifted straight out of an iPad 2, and will be available to make dreams come true this holiday season.

Will an iPad Mini be on your Christmas list this year?

Cupertino's newest toy, the iPad Mini, is basically an iPad 2 shrunk down. The screen resolution is 1024x726, and just under what Apple classifies as "Retina." It's available in both wifi and cellular favors with an "enhanced LTE" option.

Apple is quick to point out that the iPad Mini, while small, is still bigger than Google's Nexus 7.

Want one? You can get your own iPad Mini later this month for $349. The price goes up as you add storage and cellular capability.
