Archie Comics' popular 2013 storyline, "Worlds Collide," is getting a sequel, but the publisher has been keeping the details behind closed lips. Until now.

IGN reports that despite keeping the details of its sequel comic to "Worlds Collide" in the dark, Archie Comics has been hard at work on the follow-up event. The original "Worlds Collide" was a crossover comic that combined Mega Man with Sonic the Hedgehog and Archie Comics has promised that its sequel will be "bigger and better". Now, it's been revealed that Archie Comics really meant the "bigger" part of that considering it will be adding in Mega Man X and Sonic Boom to the comic.

"Worlds Unite" will be the name of the upcoming event, which will be written by Ian Flynn. Flynn is currently writing Mega Man, Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic Boom, so the integration of the worlds should be pretty seamless. The cover art will be designed and drawn by Patrick "Spaz" Spaziante. The interior artist has yet to be announced.

"The Sonic Boom comic series is part of the latest multi-media initiative from Sega, which includes video games, toys, and an all-new TV series on cartoon Network," said Archie Action editor Paul Kaminski. "And this is only the tip of the iceberg…"

You can catch the first installment of this highly anticipated mini-series beginning in Spring of 2015.
