Woman Killed in Single Car Crash in Cassia County

ALMO, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) A Cassia County woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash Sunday night.

According to the Cassia County Sheriff's Office, Chalet Ward was driving down the Connor Creek grade in Almo when she went off the side of the roadway, jumped across Highway 77 Spur and landed in a field. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Cassia County Sheriff's Office, Life-Run Ambulance, Malta Ambulance and Life Flight were dispatched at about 6:30 p.m. The sheriff's office is still investigating the crash.
