A Wind Advisory is in effect for the Magic Valley through 9pm tonight (Apr. 13).

Winds could gust up to 45 mph at times.

The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a wind Advisory for the Western Magic Valley and Southern Twin Falls county which is in effect from 11 am to 9 pm Saturday (Apr. 13).

  • Winds: West to northwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 mph. The strongest winds are expected in the afternoon.
  • Impacts: Minor Property damage possible. Travel hazard for high-profile vehicles. Visibility may be reduced in blowing dust.

Precautionary/preparedness actions

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of at least 30 mph or gusts of at least 45 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
