Win $3,000 – Magic Valley’s Got Talent 2012, Accepting Auditions
Twin Falls and the Magic Valley is full of talented people. If you are one of those people, the team at Magic Valley's Got Talent is looking for you.
2012 will mark the 3rd Annual Magic Valley's Got Talent Lighthouse School fundraiser. This year MVGT is offering $3000 in cash to the first place act, $1500 for second, $500 for third, $300 for fourth and $200 for fifth. Auditions are open to all residents of the Magic Valley. The top 30 acts will be invited to perform at the Top 30 Showcase on Friday, February 10th, where the audience will narrow down the competition to the top 10. The Top 10 showcase is March 2nd and there, the Magic Valley will choose which act is the top talent.
There are two ways to enter the prelims:
1. Submit your demo online. It's easy. Just shoot a video of you doing what you do best and submit it to MGVT. The entry deadline is January 14. You can also mail or drop your video audition at Lighthouse School - 960 Eastland Drive, Twin Falls.
2. Attend the Live Auditions. If you can't submit a video, there are a limited number of live audition slots available. Individuals and small groups may audition on Friday, Jan 13 from 5p-7p or Saturday Jan 14 from 10a - 5p. Large groups should plan on auditioning Friday, Jan 13 from 7p-9p. Be sure to fill out the Magic Valley's Got Talent online registration form to reserve your audition slot.
This event is open to Magic Valley residents of all ages. Be sure that you check out the terms and guidelines.
