I am not easily impressed. But, this video of a family rowing the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho is awesome. Not only is the subject matter spectacular, but YOU can control the camera and pick any angle you want.

If you've never heard of this, YouTube now has a series of 360 degree videos. The idea is the people taking the video record it using a camera that captures all angles. Then, when you play it back, you can scroll it around any way you want.

When I see videos like this, it makes me want to go actually DO it. If this video of rowing the Salmon gets you motivated, be sure to check out the United States Forest Service page which has some great tips on having a safe adventure.
