Why Do They Always Send the Weather People Out In The Elements To Cover Extreme Weather?

It never fails.  If you turn on the news and they're talking about hazardous weather like floods, hurricanes an extreme polar vortex, it's always the weather guy (or gal) out standing in the middle of it, telling us how dangerous it is... All while evacacuations continue in the background.

Why do they do this?  We asked that very question of our good friends Nick and Danielle Kosir on KMVT's Rise and Shine.
