Why Did Cable One Drop More Viacom Channels, Including Spike and Comedy Central?

If you have Cable One, well, you know this already.  As summarized by Chanute.com, Cable One was unable to reach a deal with Viacom, whose contract expired.  So, Viacom networks waved bye-bye.  What Cable One channels got dropped?

• BET
• Centric
• CMT
• Comedy Central
• MTV, MTV2, MTV Hits
• Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Nick Teen, Nick Toons
• Spike
• TV LAND
• VH-1, and VH-1 Classic

There's a chance that these channels will be gone permanently from Cable One.  As KTVB reports, "Cable One says if they cannot reach a deal they will let these networks go permanently, but will add others to replace them."
