Who Is In Charge of The Thermostat In Your Household? [POLL]

Every year my husband and I seem to have a disagreement when the weather turns. I always insist on turning on the heater way before my husband wants to and I think the air conditioner should never be turned on. Over the years I have learned that if I am in charge of the thermostat our bill doubles so as a general rule I am not allowed to touch the thermostat and our family saves money. BUT yesterday it was so cold I had to turn on the heater in our house and when my husband got home and realized it was set to 80 degrees, he wasn't exactly happy.
