Yesterday saw two big stories break in the sports world. Another perfect game was thrown, and another player was caught juicing. These two polar opposites represent a great story for Major League Baseball and a terrible one. Seattle’s Felix Hernandez threw the first perfect game in Mariners history, while San Francisco’s Melky Cabrera made baseball’s black eye even darker.

You would think we would be past the ‘steroid era’, but players continue to try and beat the system. Melky Cabrera got himself a 50-game suspension for a positive test.

On the other hand, you have Felix Hernandez, who performed a career feat. He threw a perfect game in a 1-0 win over Tampa Bay. So, which is the bigger story for baseball? History being made, or history being tainted?
