Johnneman Nordhagen, a developer formerly with Sony Computer Entertainment, 2K Marin and The Fullbright Company, has started his own studio and has teased his first project, a game called Where the Water Tastes Like Wine.

The tease comes in the form of four pieces of concept art from artist Kellan Jett. Each piece is dripping with a sort of moody melancholy, which is not surprising given Nordhagen's chosen name for his studio, Dim Bulb Games, which is a play on The Fullbright Company. He said himself that the name is "meant to evoke a scene of melancholy and darkness, but with a small bright spark of hope to be seen."

Each scene depicted in the concept art also conjures up some ideas of tall tales, folk tales and other stories. Note there is a thunderbird and a man in a top hat playing card with what appears to be the Big Bad Wolf, from the "Little Red Riding Hood" stories, dressed in drag. One can only wonder what kind of experience Where the Water Tastes Like Wine will be, but we'll update you as more information is made available.
