I hadn't been to a yard sale in years until we stopped by a few in Twin over the weekend.  I was amazed at the amount of people I saw, looking for a bargain.  I commented on the attendance to the host and she said, "Are you kidding me?  You should have been here at 7:00am!"

It makes sense.  Cost of living is going up.  Gas prices are up and pay doesn't quite seem to be keeping pace with the cost of living.  As a result, people are looking for bargains.

There are plenty of ways you can stretch your dollar.  You can hit up private yard sales and I've seen some decent bargains on Craigslist and eBay.   We even teamed up with SeizeTheDeal and Magic Valley's Largest Yard Sale to try to come up with interesting ways to offer you a pipeline to real, local savings.  And then there's the extreme couponing.  Those people are crazy good at saving money.

How do you save money?  There's gotta be TON of things that I haven't thought of.
