Where Do You Dread Taking Your Kids? [POLL]

My son's dentist called the other day and reminded me that it was time for his 6 month check-up. Last time I took him to the dentist he cried all the way in and all the way out. It took 4 people holding him down just so the dentist could look at his teeth. It was terrible!

I have asked a lot of mothers who seem to have no issues at the dentist what to do. A lot of people have suggested that I sedate my child for his 6 month dentist cleaning and to be honest I don't feel like I have any other choice. This makes me extremely sad.

Other mothers have told me that they have no issues with dentists but they have screaming matches during hair appointments, Christmas programs, and family pictures.

I am sure you can think back to a moment when you didn't even recognize your child because of his actions in a certain environment.
