Twin Falls has seen a lot of growth over the last several years, which got us to wondering what areas in Twin are growing the most?

Proximity to the hospital is driving growth of facilities such as doctor offices, assisted living centers, and other businesses that work with the hospital or its patients

We contacted Twin Falls PIO, Josh Palmer who tells us that the northwest part of Twin Falls is seeing the most growth in both the residential and commercial sectors. He outlined this for us citing three specific reasons.

  • [The area] has readily develop-able land that has been platted and can easily be connected to city utilities.
  • Proximity to the hospital is driving growth of facilities such as doctor offices, assisted living centers, and other businesses that work with the hospital or its patients
  • A lot of developers prepped the area for development prior to 2007, but waited for the economy to recover before moving forward with development. (Josh Palmer - Twin Falls PIO)

Below is a cross-section of a map that the City of Twin Falls provided to the Twin Falls School District while they were discussing boundaries for new schools. It highlights the areas of Twin that are seeing the most residential growth.

Mr. Palmer also stated that with the construction of the Wills Booster Station, he expects growth to increase south of Twin, and the northeast is seeing some residential growth as well.
