The fifth season of AMC's Walking Dead just wrapped up and a new prequel, Fear the Walking Dead, was announced. Another series...? I can't be the only one who's tired of the Zombie Apocalypse.

Zombies are Hollywood's new go-to monster. Need a villain? Zombie! Need a plot twist? Zombie! Need a zombie? Zomb... well, you get the idea. Did you know that even Spider-man, Iron Man, and Captain America were zombies? True story. That was ten years ago, however, when zombies were still kind of a neat idea.

Remember when vampires were the thing? Thankfully, Twilight's sparkly, brooding, and baseball playing vampires killed that trend.

I am so ready for the zombie apocalypse to end. I don't understand how zombies, a one trick pony, have survived this long and infected so many different forms of media? It's just getting old now. Maybe that's the actual zombie infection?

What do you think? Are you ready for the apocalypse to end, or do you want to hang out with the walking dead for a little longer?
