What Is The Worst Weed In Idaho – Goat Head vs Bur Buttercup

There are a lot of varieties of weeds in Idaho. A lot. Some of them we like and give them pretty names like dandelions or wildflowers (but they are still a weed if they are in your yard). Others are so terrible that no cute name can make them desirable - those weeds are Goat Head and Bur Buttercup.

These weeds aren't just annoying and hard to eradicate but they hurt like crazy when you step on them! I have my own opinion that the Goat Head weeds are the offspring of Satan and way worse than the Bur. My wife is on team Buttercup and says that the burs are way worse than the spiky Goat Heads.

Who is right or is there even a right in this weed battle?
