Ahh… Warmer weather is upon us. In the Magic Valley that means green grass, lots of sunshine, and swimming! There is nothing like diving into the pool on that first beautiful day. There are many swimming pools around the Magic Valley, and some that are geothermally heated so they feel nice and warm, even when the weather isn’t.

We’ve put together a list of when many of the pools around the Magic Valley open this year.

Banbury Hot Springs

10 miles West of Buhl on Highway 30, then turn East 1 1/2 miles
Opens: Easter Weekend 2013

Banbury Hot Springs along the Snake River offers an outdoor pool with a slide and diving board, hot baths and Jacuzzis, along with campground facilities, a picnic area and a boat ramp. It is a popular spot to soak in the Thousand Springs area.

Nat-Soo-Pah Hot Springs

Highway 93 in Hollister, Idaho
Opens: May 1st, 2013

Located off of US Hwy 93 in Hollister, Idaho, NAT-SOO-PAH Resort is a terrific destination for the entire Family. Camping, swimming, playing, soaking, picnicking or just relaxing is the order of the day at Nat-Soo-Pah!

Twin Falls Y/City Pool

756 Locust N, Twin Falls
Open: Year round, but the bubble comes off around Memorial Day

The city pool was originally opened in 1989 and is currently operated and managed by the YMCA. During colder months, an inflatable bubble is installed over the pool to keep it warm and make it a year-round facility. The bubble comes off around Memorial Day, weather permitting.

1,000 Springs Resort

5 Miles south of Hagerman, Idaho on Highway 30
Open: Year round

1,000 Springs offers something for everyone with swimming, private baths, and a wading pool. The resort is open year round, and there's a qualified lifeguard on duty at all times.

Burley Swimming Pool

1820 Parke Ave  Burley
Opens: Memorial Day Weekend

The Burley Pool opens in May on Memorial Day weekend and remains open through Labor day.
