Twin Falls (KLIX)- Western Days kicks off in down town Twin Falls today. Vendors will start setting up at the city park. On Saturday the parade gets underway. Twin Falls police want to remind drivers to plan on road closures for the parade, which starts at 10am. Falls Avenue from Blue Lakes to Harrison Street will be closed from 7am to 1pm. This will allow a staging area for parade floats. Twin Falls Staff Sergeant Dennis Pullin says a graduation will be held at the same time at the College of Southern Idaho and asks drivers to be patient and plan ahead. Addison Avenue from Harrison to Elm Street will be closed from 9am to 1pm as well. And of course Blue Lakes North from Falls to Shoshone will be closed as well. This is the 31st annual Western Days Celebration, and will feature games food, and entertainment all weekend long.
