Get your gear together for the Ice Fishing Tournament at West Magic on February 15th and 16th!

This is the fourth annual tournament scheduled north of Shoshone in the small community of West Magic

According to the Time News:

Registration starts at 7 a.m. both days at the lodge. No pre-registration is available. There will be first- and second-place winners each day for both trout and perch.

So how thick is the ice? Organizers say that the ice is already close to two feet thick and should be even thicker by the tournament.

Saturday, February 15th you can expect a fish filleting contest.  Then the fish fry is on Sunday, February 16th at 3:30PM at the lodge during the raffle drawing.  The fish fry is free to tournament players and ten dollars for non-tournament participants.
