Wendell School Increase Security after Threat

Wendell, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Officials are on heightened alert at the Wendell Middle School this Tuesday after a note was discovered last Thursday in one of the classrooms.

Gooding County Sheriff Shaun Gough said the writer in the note, threatened harm to students if they showed up on Veterans Day. Sheriff Gough said the student who allegedly made the threat was not at school.

When Idaho’s First News contacted Sheriff Gough Tuesday morning, he said he was at the school personally keeping an eye out for any possible dangers.
