Watch the Trailer for Peter Jackson’s ‘The Hobbit’ Now

Earlier this week the Internet was treated to the trailer for Christopher Nolan's final Batman film, 'The Dark Knight Rises.' However the Internet exploded yesterday as Peter Jackson released the first trailer for his new film 'The Hobbit.'

I can't tell you how many times my wife and I watched this trailer.

As fans of J.R.R. Tolkein's books, and huge fans of Peter Jackson's 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy, viewing the vistas of the elf city Rivendell again, Gandalf the Gray and Bilbo Baggins (and even Frodo Baggins!), and that last, final glimpse of the One Ring and Gollum... pure joy. I adore each of the 'Lord of the Rings' films, and this final chapter seems to have all the pieces to become truly epic.

'The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey' is set for release December 14th, 2012.
