Vince Gilligan Announces 6th Season of Breaking Bad

Oh. My. GOOOOOOOSH. Consider me among the many fans who just peed their pants, jumped for joy, did a dance, and baked a cake... not necessarily in that order...

NBC broke a story today that there will be a SEASON 6 OF BREAKING BAD!! Not the spin-off "Better Call Saul", but the original Breaking Bad.

As the NBC article points out, this wasn't a Reddit rumor, this came from the show's creator, Vince Gilligan.

“We’ve kept it under wraps for months, now the cat’s out of the bag. Season 6 is coming, and it’s going to be epic and true to the fans that have followed the show so incessantly.”

Gilligan says that Walter White is NOT dead.

I don't know if you understand what this means. You see, Breaking Bad is the best television show of all time (yes, I just went there).

From the acting ("Malcolm In the Middle dad is selling meth??"), to the direction, ("omg are they EVER going to get the fly..."), to the wonderfully compelling storyline ("Hey, I can relate to Walt's dual lifestyle! I mean, maybe not in THIS way, but I relate on some level..."), this show deserved every one of its 16 Emmy's, two Peabody's, two Golden Globes, and the many others.
