BOISE, Idaho (KTVB) -- A pair of Las Vegas women are facing charges after police say they robbed a cab driver near downtown Boise early Monday morning. The cab driver told police the 27-year-old Kimberly Mae Garrison and 29-year-old Ashton Elizabeth Pittman were inside her cab when they robbed her near 13th and West River streets after 2 a.m. Police have not released whether the women had a weapon, but said they got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The cab driver was able to give officers a description of the women, and Pittman and Garrison were found a short distance away. Officers say they found evidence tying the suspects to the robbery. Pittman and Garrison were arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail. The women each face one count of felony robbery. They are currently free on a $25,000 bond and are due to appear in court Sept. 14.
