RICHFIELD, Utah (AP) — Police say a central Utah woman didn't realize she'd been accidently shot Sunday until she collapsed. The Sevier County Sheriff's Office says 18-year-old Cheyenne Hibberd was standing near a pickup truck outside a home Sunday afternoon while she and her boyfriend  stopped to fix their flat tire.

Hibberd's boyfriend, 22-year-old Jesse Warenski, was reaching into his truck to grab a tire iron when his .30-06 rifle went off. Hibberd started walking away from the truck and later told officers all she was thinking about was "taking a walk."

She then felt pain on her left side and saw blood but kept walking. She then collapsed and Warenski called for help. She was treated at a Provo hospital for a gunshot wound. Police say the shooting was an accident.
