SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A new report by AAA shows that Utah has the lowest average price of gasoline in the country. AAA reported Tuesday that the average price in Utah for a gallon of regular gasoline is $2.90. That's 50 cents lower than last month, and two cents lower than a year ago. The report shows the average gas price falls below $3 in only five other states: Oklahoma, Idaho, Minnesota, Colorado and Wyoming. The national average is $3.30, which is seven cents lower than last year. Hawaii is the only state where the average gas price is above $4.00 at $4.01 per gallon.
